DoubleDragon taps AC Energy Retail for mall’s electricity supply
April 18, 2017 — Real estate company DoubleDragon Properties Corporation signed a contract with AC Energy Retail for the electricity supply of Dragon8 Mall, the property developer’s six-storey shopping center in Tondo, Manila.
The retail electricity supply contract, which will be for two years with renewal option, is expected to give Dragon8 Mall 6-12% savings on power consumption cost. The mall has an aggregate monthly consumption of 1MW.
At the signing were DoubleDragon Chairman Edgar “Injap” Sia II, Chief Investment Officer Hannah Yulo, and Legal Head Jose Barrera, together with AC Energy President and CEO Eric Francia, Chief Finance Officer Maria Corazon Dizon and Retail Head Miguel de Jesus.
“We are grateful for the trust given to us by DoubleDragon and we hope this marks the beginning of more partnerships with them in the future,” de Jesus said.
Since the grant of its retail electricity supply license in September 2016 by the energy Regulatory Commission, AC Energy Retail now has 13 contestable customers under its portfolio.
